Mind and body are not separate from each other. Shadows have shadows too, and they are called bodies. Body should never be in mind’s shadow. Body is a powerful weapon If you know how to hold it. It is a weapon against everything that hinders you from living the life on your own terms. Charging your body means charging your mind.
If your body is a temple, then yoga is a prayer. (in singing voice) Read a little prayer from me
It’s me and I’m following up with you to just see what you’re doing today in terms of feeding your mind, body, or spirit. I’m actually on my way to a hot yoga class and walking through Mount Pleasant Cemetery, which is quite a beautiful cemetery to walk through near my neighborhood in Toronto. And I’m doing a 30-day yoga challenge.
What that means is that I have to do 30 yoga classes in 30 days. I’m probably only going to do 21 classes, and that’s quite all right, because 21 out of 30 is damn good.
So here’s my challenge to you. Just go out and do it — do anything!
I feel like a million bucks right now as I walk back home about to have my dinner. Doing any form of exercise right after work is a great transition from your day to your evening.
I’m living THE PROUD LIFE , and feeding my mind, body, and soul. And that’s what you need to do. And you know why I do it? Because I don’t want to end up in one of those things over there (a grave).
Life is too short, my friend go figure out a routine and be consistent about it. I’ve been making exercise a part of my life since I was a young boy. I’m not saying that I am one of these musclebound sort of gym-bunnies. I do yoga with modified flows because I have a bit of a gut, which is a challenge. I’m working on getting rid of my gut but at least I’m out there, doing it to live one day at a time.
Get your butt out there, do some exercise, have some fun. Life doesn’t get any better than that.
